Retort is at the heart of the food processing industry for long shelf-life products such as shelf-stable food, baby food, pet food, soup, sauces, coffee and fruit juices. However, the product to be used with retort must be packaged in a container that is resistant to high heat or designed for sterilization only.

Type of Retort
1. Direct Steam Retort
Suitable for rigid container, metal or aluminum products such as canned tuna.
2. Overpressure Water Spray Retort
Suitable for semi-rigid and flexible products such as plastic cups, aluminum bags and glass bottles.
3. Dual Mode Retort
Supports sterilization in both systems: direct steam system and overpressure water spray system. Suitable for factory that produce a wide variety of products, which saves space and saves investment costs.
